lower quinton
Lower Quinton is a picturesque village on the edge of the North Cotswolds, 6 miles from Stratford-upon-Avon. Parts of the church of St Swithin date to the 12th & 13th century. An 8th century legend has it that the Devil kicked a boulder from the top of nearby Meon Hill intending to smash Evesham Abbey but missed and hit Cleeve Hill instead.
